The Cradle of Forestry is a Park run site that takes a historical look at how the Forest Service began. There is an interactive museum which offers a search and find game for children. Also behind the museum there are paved hiking trails that allow you to see buildings used by the Forest Service in its infancy. From April to October they have at least one event per month that the whole family will enjoy.
