Linville Falls Trailer Lodge & Campground
Nestled just off the Blue Ridge Parkway is the Linville Falls Trailer Lodge & Campground. This is a great place to bring the family. The campground is very well kept and the campsites don’t feel as if they are on top of one another. There are sites for campers, tents and if you don’t have one of those you may stay in one of their cabins. The grounds are well maintained, providing a playground for children, shelter for group gatherings and a very clean bathhouse.
If you want to be close to nature but not travel far, this is the place for you. This campground is literally just minutes away from Linville Falls Park and Linville Caverns. Beyond there you have the Linn Cove Viaduct and the Moses H. Cone Memorial Park with its breathtaking views.
Directions
From Marion NC, take Hwy 221 North for 22 miles then take a left onto Gurney Franklin Road. Drive .5 miles and the entrance to the campground will be on the left. (As you take Hwy 221, Gurney Franklin road is the last road to the left before crossing the Blue Ridge Parkway.)
