Hickory Ridge Museum
If you're planning to see Horn in the West, be sure to arrive early. The Hickory Ridge Living History Museum, shares the site with the amphitheater and have several historic cabins, a blacksmith shop and tavern that have been moved there from other parts of the Appalachian mountains. The Homestead is only open for a few hours before the drama begins and there are reenactors who are glad to tell you the history of the area and answer your questions.
